A full-time permanent vacancy has arisen within our Toolmaking Department. Working: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm.
Primary Purpose of Position
- To be responsible for the Manufacturing of Mould Tools; jigs and fixtures.
Areas of Business
- To become fully conversant with all aspects of toolmaking practices.
- To use CMM Machinery to check parts are precise, of high quality and accurate to drawing.
- To understand the works order administration system.
- To carry out maintenance on injection mould tools.
- To be able to use and interpret engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data and inspection reports.
- Will be expected to be able to produce, prove and edit CNC programmes.
- To gain an understanding of injection moulding techniques and best practices.
- Proficient in operating manual toolroom machinery such as milling, turning and grinding machinery.
- To be proactive in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improving the business.
Job Requirements
- Good standard of education
- Minimum grade 4 (Or Equivalent) GCSE grade in Maths
- Practical and Mechanical minded
- Ability to work as part of growing team
