Glenair manufacture a wide range of Mil-spec and aerospace qualified interconnect solutions including :
circular connectors, micro-D and nanominiature connectors, connector backshells and accessories, conduit and braiding, heat shrink boots as well as providing connector assembly tooling.
Other high reliability products include fibre optic components and assemblies, composite connectors and accessories through to filtered or hermetic connectors. We specialise in the design and manufacture of high performance wired harness and flexi-harness assemblies including sealed over-moulded cables for many technically demanding and challenging applications.

Hermetic Connectors

Hydraulic Crimp Tools
Glenair offer direct equivalents to the hand, bench and battery operated crimp tools for Indent and Open Frame Applications. All tools, with exception of the HX23, can be operated by finger or with optional foot pedal (HX23 comes with foot pedal and bench mount as standard). Bench mounts are available. Safe-T-Cable
The Safe-T-Cable® system is comprised of various lengths of high tensile, pre-twisted, stainless steel cable with a fitting at on end, and a ferrule, which may be terminated at any point along the length of the cable. The precision installation tool and its accessories allow the user to verify the calibration, and easily install the Safe-T-Cable® in any location in which it is required.

Flex Assembly Solutions
Flex Circuit Assemblies are an alternative to standard wire in electrical interconnect systems. Designed to reduce size and weight, flex circuits utilise thin layers of polymer film as a dielectric sandwiched between conductive circuit patterns etched into layers of copper foil cladding.
Pure Air Solutions
In the Glenair Pure-Air facility, we manufacture parts for IR Guided Weapons and Weapons Ejection systems which use High Pressure, Pure-Air, Dry Air, Argon or Nitrogen. Twist-Strip™
Stripping multi-conductor wire cable is often done by hand with a razor blade. This is a dangerous and difficult way to remove the jacket from any type of electrical cable. The DMC Twist-Strip™ products have adjustable blades that allow the tool to accommodate variances in the cable. The repeatable function of the tool reduces operator error and is up to 3 to 5 times faster than conventional methods.
