AAT Accounting Levels 2 - 4

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Finance department as a Financial Apprentice. The successful candidate will provide support for the finance department, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Register purchase invoices on the system
• Match purchase invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes
• Raise cases relating to invoice queries
• Progress customers for payments and deal with any invoice enquiries
• Become conversant with all aspects of payroll
• Become conversant with all aspects of purchase ledger & credit control
• Provide cover in the absence of your colleagues

The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally over approximately 12 months + EPA depending on the candidate’s current knowledge skills and qualifications.

The candidate must be willing to travel and attend external training on a day release to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining an Accounts/Finance Assistant- level 2 Apprenticeship. After successful completion of the level 2 apprenticeship we would expect the apprentice to progress on to the level 3 and level 4 AAT Accounting apprenticeships.
