Machine Shop Production Co-Ordinator

Primary Purpose of Position

To be responsible for the efficient planning, issuing and monitoring of the Production requirements within the Machine Shop.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To understand how the works orders operate through the production cycle.
• To comprehend the operation of the drawing control system.
• Efficient generation of works orders on AX.
• Effective Liaison with Machine Shop Shift Leaders to ensure on-time delivery of parts.
• Liaise with Purchasing with regards to raw material stock.
• Effective liaison with internal departments within Glenair.
• Booking in of goods received items.
• Checking of time sheets.
• Cover for colleagues within the department as and when required.
• Perform related job duties as required around the department.

Person Specification

• Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication
• Attention to detail
• To be prepared to undergo training as and when required
