Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a new apprentice to join our QA department to become a qualified Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Technician.

The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally over approximately 18 months depending on the candidate’s current knowledge skills and qualifications.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Assist the team with investigations of accidents and review accidents and statistics.
• Assist with the compilation of accident statistics.
• Assist with auditing, analysing and collating SHE/compliance performance data and using information to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist with emergency procedures and equipment in place for dealing with emergencies, fires and spillages.
• Assist with risk assessments on any new machinery, plant, equipment being installed.
• Assist with the provision of occupational health services.

This is a work-based apprenticeship including work-based assessments and online learning. The candidate must be willing to attend online masterclasses and coaching sessions to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining a Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician.
