Job Description:

A full-time permanent vacancy has arisen within our Calibration Department. Working: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for the calibration / validation of measuring equipment, equipment, Tooling, gauges to company

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to department and company procedures, specifically remaining in parameters set by industry standards.
Accurately recording results and are in line with industry standards.
Standardising information from different sources where practicable.
Responding to internal and/or external enquiries.
To ensure that records are identified and managed accurately.
Periodically, the electronic records system will be audited internally, and by an external body. When required, provide assistance and evidence that the system is well maintained and demonstrate that archives are easily accessible
To perform routine housekeeping duties

Job Requirements:

Person Specification

Demands accuracy and consistency, which will be measured and monitored.
Have an understanding of British and international standards.
Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
Comfortable with metric and imperial measurements.
Good interpersonal skills
Effective communication
